How we handle personal information you share when contacting Talon Travel
Who operates this website
Talon Travel is a travel planning brand within Talon Group. We are responsible for information submitted through talontravel.co. For a privacy request, use the consultation form and select Privacy or data request.
Information we collect
A website inquiry may contain your name, email, type of travel, approximate budget, travel dates, number of travelers and the message you choose to provide. Do not send passport numbers, card details or sensitive health information through this form.
Purpose and legal basis
We process your information to evaluate and respond to your inquiry and to take steps at your request before a potential agreement, under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). We process limited security and technical information to protect the website and prevent abuse, based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). A consultation request does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
How submissions are delivered
The form sends the information to an AWS Lambda function and then uses Amazon Simple Email Service to deliver it to a restricted business mailbox. We do not keep a separate website inquiries database. Technical function logs are set to expire after 14 days and are designed not to contain form contents.
Suppliers and international transfers
We use Amazon Web Services to host the site, process inquiries and send transactional email. We also request fonts from Google Fonts, which can receive technical connection information such as your IP address. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, under the safeguards applicable to those providers and transfers.
Retention
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably required to handle the request, maintain relevant business records or comply with legal obligations. You can ask us about our retention practices or request deletion where permitted by law.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also complain to an appropriate data-protection authority. Choose Privacy or data request in our consultation form and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing personal information.
